DIY - You Know You Can

In retirement, more than at any other point in our lives, we have the time to embark on DIY projects - if that's what we fancy doing. It can be immensely satisfying to see the finished result of our handiwork (as long as it has been done to a good standard). If not, we may possibly never attempt anything again. Also, of course, a lot of money can be saved by doing it yourself.
As in all things, it's always best to gen up on any project you wish to try. There are many videos on Youtube, which can give you step by step instructions. You may have been lucky enough to have been shown things by a parent or friend, or you may just like to read up on a project you fancy trying but it's definitely best not to start on something without a good idea of how to go about it.
Once your project has been decided, see the list of everything you will need,
